- Formerly known as Charcoal + Manuka Mask, our new Skin Rescue Mask has been upgraded by us. Our intensive masks are formulated in a balanced way, which means that they are generally suitable for all skin types, they have a moisturizing, nourishing and antibacterial effect, whereby one aspect of the effect has been specially worked out. The skin rescue mask with activated carbon made of bamboo cleanses the skin of dirt and assists you in the treatment of underlaying, acne scars and bumps. It gently soothes, disinfects and mattifies the skin without drying out.
2% PHA fruit acid and 0,2% salicylic acid stimulate cell turnover, loosening deep impurities, while black activated charcoal helps to pull them to the surface. Lovely Day has made this process a little gentler by adding an anti-inflammatory element with Moroccan lava soil, Allantoin, Blue Tansy and soothing chamomile hydrosol. Argan oil regenerates skin that has been damaged by acne and Manuka oil, which is 40 times stronger than tea tree oil, fights those impurities! No drying, or uncomfortable tightening feeling during application.

- Gently massage onto clean skin, avoiding eye, eyebrow, and lips. Leave on for 15-25 minutes, allowing the mask to really work into the skin, then rinse with warm water. Remove the remaining mask with a warm cotton pad. For best results, use 3-4 times a week or as a mild scrub to add into your regular skincare regime. Even after the first application you can expect a smoother, and more even skin tone. If used regularly, it can prevent the occurrence of annoying acne breakouts. Always keep it cool, dry, and away from sunlight.
When using as a mild scrub, remember to gently massage across, and not into, the skin. Do not scrub, or use a firm pressure.Good to know
Essential oils may trigger an allergic reaction for some people, so Lovely Day has used them in their facial care for therapeutic purposes only. This product for example, contains only a small and essential amount of Manuka oil. There is simply not enough to create an allergic reaction.
Activated Charcoal: Activated charcoal acts like a kind of dirt magnet, without attacking the acid protection coat of the skin. The impurities are bound together with the clay, and washing.
Moroccan Clay: From Moroccan lava, this clay is detoxifying, soothing, decongesting, and regenerating. It has a slight peeling effect, but is mild enough to not irritate your skin.
PHA fruit acid: Accelerates cellular turnover (peeling effect) and thus has the following effects: strengthens the skin, increases collagen production, minimizes pores, and evens skin tone. PHAs are equally effective as their counterparts BHA and AHA, but are much gentler on the skin.
Argan oil: The controlled-organic gold of Morocco contains two unsaturated fatty acids from the omega-6 group. They are a component of the cell membranes, their mobile molecular structure keeps them supple and ensures that material transports into the cells and out of the cells are barrier-free. These metabolic processes are mostly disrupted in the case of diseased skin conditions such as acne. Phytosterols activate the skin metabolism, triterpenoids repair injured tissue like acne scars and have disinfecting properties.
