A beautiful, coral color. What does that have to do with our latest facial oil? All of them contain part of the redblood rain algae and the strongest, natural antioxidant on our planet, a thousand times stronger than vitamin E: astaxanthin.
Our coral elixir is a wonderfully velvety-soft, intensely nourishing and non-greasy oil, created to strengthen, protect and regenerate your skin in summer. The combination of vitamin A, vegetable oils such as sea buckthorn pulp and raspberry seed oil and fresh organic carrot extract with astaxanthin, vitamin C and vitamin E optimally prepare your skin for the bright season. The potent combination of antioxidants can increase the elasticity of the skin, reduce UV-related stress and accelerate the regeneration of UV-related inflammation. Vitamin C and E in combination are also considered the most effective secret weapon against pigment spots. Does not replace UV protection.
- The oil can be used both in the morning and in the evening, with UV protection during the day.The ideal routine for summer: First apply our Hyaluron + Bloom Tropical Hydration Nectar and then the Coral Elixir. The combination of niacin amides and antioxidants works perfectly against uneven skin. This is where our new Alga Maris sun protection follows perfectly. The coral elixir can also be used as a regenerating night care. In summer it can replace the Skin Rescue Oil or be used alternately.
Good to know
The microscopic blood rain algae produce the astaxanthin to protect itself from excessive UV radiation. This alga is on the menu of water crabs, which turn red-orange due to the ingested astaxanthin and also benefit from the UV-protecting effect. Flamingos in turn eat the small crabs and only then get their typically pink plumage. -

Raspberry Seed Oil: Native and cold pressed, it has a high proportion of natural vitamins A and E as well as omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. The oil helps the skin to retain moisture, maintains its elasticity, protects against free radicals and helps regulate sebum production.
Vitamin C Palmitat: stimulates the collagen formation of the skin, gives it more elasticity and gently balances the pigmentation. Vitamin C also has a strong antioxidant effect by protecting the top layer of skin against the formation of free radicals and thus preventing premature skin aging. It also has an anti-inflammatory effect, e.g. B. for acne. In our Coral Elixir we use a very stable form of vitamin C (Ascorbyl palmitate) in a 1% solution.Sea buckthorn pulp oil: is rich in beta carotene, a precursor of vitamin A, and has an anti-inflammatory, cell-regenerating and antioxidant effect. In addition, the rich oil supplies the skin with vitamins such as C, E and B12 as well as nutrients such as iron and calcium. Palmitoleic acid, from the Omega 7 group, counteracts the formation of wrinkles.Astaxanthin: The star of this facial oil is the powerful, fat-soluble antioxidant astaxanthin, which (per molecule) is many times more effective than vitamin E and can neutralize several free radicals at once. Astaxanthin has natural UV blocking properties that can help the skin protect itself from sun-related damage such as pigment spots, it also increases skin moisture and elasticity, making the skin look smoother, fine lines and wrinkles are reduced.
